Put Money on Your Student's DalCard

Use DalCard for many on-campus and off-campus shops and services

DalCard is your student’s official Dalhousie identification card, library card, debit card for select goods and services, laundry card and access card for residence. Your student can use their DalCard for a wide variety of things, including:

• purchases at on-campus and off-campus vendors
• purchases at the Dal Bookstore
• printing and photocopying
• accessing their building
• laundry in select Halifax residences

Deposit funds online

You can put money on your student's DalCard using Visa or MasterCard through our MyDalCard website. You'll need your student's student ID number (B00) and date of birth.

Call the DalCard Office if you'd like to use American Express.     

5% back

Your student will earn 5% back on purchases made with their DalCard at the Dal Bookstore and participating food vendors.
