On-campus residence accommodations


We are pleased to offer on-campus accommodations at Dalhousie's newest residence, LeMarchant Place, for the nights of June 6 and 7. Your conference registration includes a bedspace in a two-three or four bedroom suite, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

LeMarchant Place features a variety of fully furnished accommodations, including single bedrooms with shared bathrooms and multi-bedroom suites with kitchenettes. Each floor is equipped with a communal kitchen, lounge, and laundry facilities. All rooms and bathrooms are accessible, and wireless internet is available throughout the building.

Transportation to the venue at Dalhousie
 

From Halifax Stanfield International Airport:

  • Taxi & rideshare: Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are readily available at the airport. The ride to Dalhousie University takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • Airport shuttle: Maritime Bus provides shuttle service between the airport and downtown Halifax. Be sure to check their schedule for up-to-date information.
  • Public transit: Halifax Transit operates the MetroX bus service, connecting the airport to the downtown core. The adult fare is $4.25, and exact change is required.

Local transportation:

  • Halifax Transit: Many bus routes will get you to Dalhousie University. The Scotia Square transit terminal and the Water St. ferry terminal are both within a 10-minute walk of the campus.
  • Parking: On-campus parking is available for those driving to the conference. Additionally, there are several parkades in the downtown area.
