Students are expected to register on or before the specified registration dates. Students wishing to register after these dates must receive approval from the Registrar. A late registration fee of $50.00 will apply if registration and payment of fees has not been completed by specified due dates, regardless of the source of funding. This fee is payable at time of payment and will be in addition to regular fees.
Students who submit a request to waive the late registration fee can do so after the student account is paid in full, including the late registration and interest. Otherwise, your request will not be considered. The Waiver Request [PDF - 236 kB] form is available online.
A student whose account is delinquent for more than 30 days will be denied certain University privileges such as access to transcripts. The student will be reinstated upon payment of the outstanding fees, arrears interest and a $50.00 reinstatement fee. The Waiver Request [PDF - 236 kB] form is available online.
Effective February 13th, 2023 the annual interest rate charged on all overdue accounts is 12%, interest is assessed weekly and is compounded monthly.

Graduating students whose accounts are delinquent on April 15 will not receive their degree/parchment at the May convocation. For October graduation, the deadline is September 1. Accounts which become seriously delinquent may be placed on collection or further legal action may be taken against the individual. Students will be responsible for charges incurred as a result of such action.
If payment is by cheque and returned by the bank as non-negotiable, there will be an additional fee of $20.00 and the account will be considered unpaid. Furthermore, if the bank returns a cheque that was to cover payment of tuition, the student's registration may be cancelled and, if permitted to re-register, a late registration fee may apply.
