I have a longstanding interest in the development of social understanding and social behaviour in early childhood. My work has covered phenomena such as theory of mind, joint attention, self-recognition, future-oriented decision-making, and moral action. Recently, I have shifted to writing for a general audience. My book, “Guilt” will be published in 2025. It explores all the ways that guilt appears in our lives and also forms the basis for my third year class in Social Psychology.
