Learning & Development survey feedback
Thank you for taking the time to respond to our recent Learning & Development survey inquiring about your professional development needs. We appreciate your feedback and would like to share with you some of the highlights from the survey:
· The majority of responses (75 %) came from staff members.
· Approximately 45% of respondents are somewhat satisfied with how well their learning and development needs have been met to date, but there is room for improvement, particularly as it relates to on-site offerings.
· The most requested topics are: project management, MBTI/personality styles, career management, facilitation skills, presentation skills, and organizational skills/time management/productivity.
...In response to the survey, we will offer some on-site learning opportunities at the Agricultural Campus on one or more of the most requested topics (listed above) over the next few months. Two workshops, “Introduction to Project Management (2-d, Feb. 27-28)” and “Managing Small-scale Projects (0.5-d, Mar. 7)” have already been added to the calendar.
In the meantime, if you have any questions related to learning and development, feel free to contact us at eod@dal.ca or call 893-5350.
