To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).

Program options
Our Department offers a two-year Diploma in Business Management (DBM). Students in the DBM program can obtain a specialization in one of two areas: Dairy Farming or Agriculture.

What you will learn
Every student in the Business Management Diploma program receives a broad business education. You'll take courses in Business Math and Writing for Business and Accounting while also learning in detail about your chosen field (Agriculture or Dairy Farming) both inside and outside the classroom.

You’ll also be required to take Workplace Readiness certificates, including Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), First Aid, Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and a Farm Health & Safety Management Certificate.

You'll be prepared to explore a range of career options in your chosen specialty, from operating your own business to working in sales and marketing.
Future studies could include more detailed diploma-level programs such as Plant Science Technology or Managed Landscapes. Future studies may also include completing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Agricultural Business.
